A website can look fine and still have problems
A broken internal link, duplicate title, accidental noindex directive, or mismatched canonical can be easy to miss when you are focused on running the business.
Website Checkup gives you a practical second set of eyes without turning the result into a giant technical audit.
Find the issue. Understand it. Decide what to fix.
One scan. Clear findings grouped by what needs attention, what is worth reviewing, and what looks good.
Why it helps
Scan multiple public pages and surface problems that are easy to miss during day-to-day website updates.
Separate stronger warnings from items that are simply worth reviewing instead of treating everything like an emergency.
Each finding explains what was detected, why it matters, and a practical next step to consider.

Learn moreA public page contains a robots directive that tells search engines not to include it in search results.
If the page is meant to be discoverable, the noindex directive can prevent it from appearing in search.
Confirm whether the page should be searchable. If it should, remove the noindex directive and request a recrawl after publishing the change.
What the Beta checks
See failed pages, non-success responses, and discovered internal links that do not resolve correctly.
Review missing, duplicated, or unusually long page titles and meta descriptions.
Check for missing or multiple H1 headings and pages with very little readable content.
Find pages using noindex and note when discovered pages are blocked from the scan.
Review missing canonicals and pages whose canonical URL points somewhere other than the page being checked.
Check viewport setup, declared language, and whether structured data is detected on scanned pages.
How it works
BossBack starts with the public website associated with your business account.
BossBack scans public pages and records objective page-level observations used by the Checkup rules.
See findings grouped as Needs attention, Worth reviewing, and Looks good, with an explanation and next step.
No 0–100 score. Fix the issue, not the number.
Different businesses. Familiar website issues.
Unique page titles can make individual services easier for people and search engines to distinguish.
A page intended for search visibility may be accidentally telling search engines to leave it out.
Visitors and crawlers can hit a dead end when a destination moves or is removed.
A clear H1 helps establish the page's primary topic and structure.
That may be intentional—or it may be a signal worth checking before search engines choose a preferred version.
Thin pages can be worth reviewing to confirm they contain enough useful information for their purpose.
Not every finding is equally urgent
Website Checkup groups findings by severity so you can focus on stronger signals without treating every observation like a crisis.
It also shows positive checks so a scan is not just a list of things that are wrong.
A practical Checkup
Website Checkup is designed to surface objective signals that a small-business owner can understand and act on.
It is not a comprehensive SEO platform, security assessment, accessibility certification, legal review, performance lab, backlink tool, ranking tracker, or substitute for specialized professional testing.
Know what was detected.
Know what to review next.
Specialized assessments remain specialized.
Fix the problem, not the score
Website Checkup does not assign a 0–100 grade. The goal is to help you understand a concrete issue and decide whether it should be fixed.
If the page should appear in search, remove the noindex directive and publish the corrected page.
Give each important page a concise, descriptive title that reflects that page's specific purpose.
Update the link to the correct destination or remove it if the destination no longer exists.
The useful fix comes first. Not every finding requires a redesign or a new tool.
Built for small business
Understand what was detected without translating a report full of specialist terminology.
Separate stronger problems from items that simply deserve a closer look.
Run another Checkup after changes and review the website again as it evolves.
